Smart, sustainable mobility VC, Next Gear Ventures, was in a slump. Lacking a coherent identity and messaging focus, they connected with TEC to rebrand their organization, define their voice, and launch their new website.
Our strategic endeavors began with their logo resulting in an end product that communicates NGV is more because of the sum of its parts.

At the onset of our strategic process we noticed a common thread: staff and startups often referred to Next Gear Ventures as ‘NGV.’ This simple acronym sparked an idea. By re-imagining the generic ‘V,’ we could visually represent NGV’s distinctive approach to venture capital.
NGV’s “V” became a tool through which the brand both engages audiences and projects their uniqueness. Subsequent brand language development expands on this theme, featuring interconnected circles, squares, and lines, symbolizing the firm’s commitment to bridging gaps, sparking ecosystem-wide innovation, and fostering a strong sense of community.
