Our monthly retainer covers most core creative marketing needs, but certain specialized services may require additional investment. Services like digital marketing, influencer marketing, social media engagement, digital animation, and video production can either be included in your initial scope (affecting the base retainer price) or added later as supplemental services. We’re transparent about these distinctions from the start—if your marketing strategy requires these specialized services, we’ll either incorporate them into a custom monthly agreement or provide clear pricing for adding them later.
Our standard CMO’s Best Friend agreement operates on a straightforward monthly retainer of $9,800 USD (plus VAT where applicable). Think of it as investing in one full-time marketing manager, but instead receiving an entire spectrum of specialized marketing experts—strategy, creative, content, design, and execution—all bundled into a single predictable cost. This structure provides you with comprehensive marketing support without the overhead of building and managing an in-house team or an array of disconnected out-sourced providers.
This said, we do understand the resource constraints of growing businesses and can offer special scope considerations for early-stage startups and NGOs.
Our partnership works best when there’s a clear point person on your side who ‘owns’ the marketing function. Without this designated contact, projects can stall amid competing priorities. This individual doesn’t need to be in a full-time marketing role. For example, for startups, it might be a founder, and for established companies, it could be a department head with marketing oversight. Regardless, this individual requires the autonomy to make decisions, provide timely feedback, and champion initiatives within your organization. This ensures accountability and prevents your marketing investments from getting lost in organizational shuffle.
Our process is designed to maximize results while minimizing demands on your schedule. We typically require just a standing 30-minute weekly meeting with your designated point person. These focused check-ins bring together the right people from both sides—for instance, our creative director joins when reviewing design work, ensuring decisions get made efficiently. These regular touchpoints keep projects moving forward, allow for timely feedback on deliverables, and enable proactive planning. Beyond these structured check-ins, we handle the heavy lifting, allowing you to stay informed and decisive without getting bogged down in day-to-day execution.
We use a combination of project management software, scheduled video calls, and direct messaging to maintain clear communication. Our approach adapts to your preferred channels and workflow – but maintains consistency so we stay on track.
